Benefits : Relieves tension, heaviness and stiffness in the head, neck and shoulder region.
Contra-Indications : Not for elderly people and those suffering from low/high BP, vertigo or extreme cervical spondylosis.
Awareness : On the stretch of neck and breath. Perform only till the extent you can. Stop if you see reeling sensation
Breathing : Inhale on the upward movement, Exhale on the downward movement
Duration : Movement to the right-center-left-center makes 1 round. Repeat 10 times.
Steps : Stand with feet at shoulder width distance apart. Place the hands on the hips. Relax the shoulders.
Slowly move the head to the right and try to touch the right ear to the right
shoulder without raising the shoulders.
Move the head to the left side and try to touch the left ear to the left
shoulder.
This is one round. Practice 10 rounds.
